Jana shepard edward jones1/28/2024 The Black Alumni Chapter Scholarship is to be awarded to a full-time undergraduate or graduate student, with a minimum 2.5 GPA, who demonstrates community and/or campus involvement (via resume), and 300-500 word essay responding to one of the two prompts. One of the annual BAC scholarships is given in memory of Tyrone A. Tyrone lived the mission of our chapter and his dream was to see the BAC provide scholarships to deserving students. (Class of 1991), a recently departed alumnus who was a BAC Executive board member for many years. In 2016, the Black Alumni chapter created a scholarship in memoriam of Tyrone A. This scholarship was established to assist in the education of students who promote and live the concept of positive community involvement within the African-American community.
